Child Safety Standards
Binder Bounty has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and sextortion. Any account involved is closed and reported to the authorities.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises a child, including text, links or descriptions.
- Grooming: building a relationship with a child in order to abuse or exploit them.
- Asking a child for images, personal details or to meet in private.
- Sextortion or threats of any kind.
How the app reduces risk
- Binder Bounty is only for adults aged 18 and over. Under-18s are not allowed, and we ask for a date of birth at sign-up.
- If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it.
- No one can message another user until that user accepts their request.
- Messaging is text only. There is no image, video or file sharing.
- Location is shown at town level only, never a precise position.
- Every profile and conversation has block and report options.
- The app encourages meeting in public game stores.
How to report
- In the app: open the person’s profile or your chat, tap the menu, choose Report, then pick “They may be under 18, or a child safety concern”.
- By email: support@binder-bounty.com, with “Child safety” in the subject line.
- If a child is in immediate danger: call the police on 999 in the UK, or your local emergency number.
What we do with a report
- We review child safety reports first, ahead of all other reports.
- We suspend accounts involved while we investigate, and remove any prohibited content.
- We report CSAE to the National Crime Agency (CEOP) and CSAM to the Internet Watch Foundation, and to the relevant authority in other countries.
- We keep the evidence that law enforcement needs and cooperate with their requests.
- Accounts involved are permanently banned.
